Love, Light, Flight

It's hard to believe, but today marks the one-year anniversary of the Fukushima tsunami. Our readers and writers turned to Haiku then to express and speak to this loss, so I think it is especially fitting that I post this remarkable Haiku poem by Jessica Fenlon today.

haiku for my friend who hurts

        gravestones poke out
of the snow            broken teeth

a sparrow takes flight
